How it all started?
BookTok is a subcommunity on the app TikTok, focused on books and literature. Creators make videos reviewing, discussing, and joking about the books they read. These books range in genre, but many creators tend to focus on young adult fiction, young adult fantasy, and romance. This community has and is impacting the publishing industry and book sales.​
Today, the hashtag #BookTok has more than 97 Billion views! This "book club" led to a significant increase in sales, helping several books find their way onto The New York Times Bestseller list.
And that was when we thought "why don't we create something that helps to put together this gigantic community?" And we did. Allow us to introduce you to miBook. miBook is an online website where you can check out the new BookTok trends, buy the books that you want and share your opinions with everyone.
